NICKY TAYLOR FIRST EVER WINNER
OF THE NEW CLIO CUP GB
With only one test day at a cold and wet Brands Hatch Indy circuit Nicky went into the race day with no dry running. We qualified in third place still very much getting used to the car, having never driven on the Michelin slicks and all of the differences between the New Generation V II Renault Clio and the older Mini. Still, with nothing to loose we went into the race with my normal enthusiasm and by the third corner we took the lead. I only had 19 minutes to hold onto it, With the cars behind being faster, but still I made my new Clio the widest car in Kent and I feel valiantly held onto to an historic win. My team Graves Motorsport and my two technicians Sam and Jason dialled the car into where it needed to be and we went on to win.

This year I will again be racing with Graves Motorsport as we embark on our new challenge
